First a word of Thanks to this new organization helping to bring further awareness and support:

About Missing Veterans MissingVeterans.com was started in 2014 by a Veteran to help raise awareness and act as a focal point for highlighting Missing U.S. Veterans. With the help of Volunteers and with the support of people around the United States providing tips and updates, we are able to provide a valuable resource for the Missing Veterans, their family and friends. The MissingVeterans.com website is an all volunteer effort. No money is asked for at any time and we do not accept donations. We focus on Missing Veterans only and only list Veterans who went missing while not on official duty in an operation or during a conflict. There are many resources already available for finding our Missing Brothers and Sisters who are POW/MIA. We can best serve our Brothers and Sisters back home by focusing on those that went missing back home if we narrow our criteria.  Read more: http://www.missingveterans.com/about-missing-veterans/

After having a successful 1st run at this, we are excitedly looking forward to our 2nd. You couldn’t pick a better venue than the Celoron Rib fest. The run starts and ends at the Celoron Village Park on Lake Chautauqua on the final day of the annual Rib-fest, Saturday June 6th . All day long there is great food and merchandise available from many different vendors, the beer & wine tent in full swing, live bands playing all day and into the night in the bandshell, and a lot of activities overall for both kids and adults alike, including a classic car show. And, don’t forget that the night before, Friday, is bike night.

We had a wonderful turn out last year with over 50 bikes, and great fundraising results. With your help and participation we hope to double it this year. We can’t thank you all enough and whether by helping out with a task small or large, or by making a donation small or large, it all matters and makes a great difference in helping to support this very important CUE cause.

Missing persons, children and adults, affects families and communities across the nation and sometimes hits right here at home. It is an epidemic that is blind to demographics and the chilling effects can hit anyone anywhere anytime. Thank God for groups like CUE that provide support for victims and their families as well as for law enforcement trying to solve the cases.

Not only does the “ride to find em” run help raise money for the CUE’s efforts, but it also donations money to YMCA funds in names of Damien Sharp and Lori Bova which helps keep the public aware of their cases and their memories alive.

Please help! We welcome the support and participation of all those willing in any way they can.
